Whenever I try to write a description of a setting based in nature, I realize that I only know the most basic of terms for the environment. Quickwater is one word in many that I have been adding to my vocabulary. Also, it’s not a bad name for a character or a ship.
Write a story/scene using “quickwater” to describe a setting. Use the opportunity to add other nature related words to your vocabulary. Write the scene in a natural tone, but use the appropriate or correct words for the natural setting.
